The school library is the main cultural center of the school. It is an oasis of intellectual and spiritual tranquility, pacification, a place where you will always calmly listen and help. With the change of time, both the appearance and the forms of work of the school library are updated. Each visitor is not only able to get acquainted with classical and contemporary writers, but also to find the right information on the Internet. For several years now, the school library has free access to the World Wide Web.

The third year works as a school librarian Pertseva Natalia. Natalia Anatolievna is doing a lot of work on promoting the printed word among schoolchildren, organizing meetings with famous writers, exhibitions of thematic literature, library lessons, competitions and brain rings. Now in school there is a month of school libraries under the slogan “School Library – for a healthy lifestyle”.

Note: The International Day of School Libraries is celebrated annually on the fourth Monday in October, starting in 1999 at the initiative of UNESCO. For the first time, it was proclaimed by president of the International Association of School Libraries Blanche Woolls. In 2008, this event came to a new level – it was announced that the International Day of School Libraries would turn into an international month. In October of that year, the first Month of School Libraries was held.
