Known and Unknown Countrymen
Schoolgirls of 10B class Bezhuba Alina and Olha Bilous took part in city competition of works of “Known and unknown countrymen”. The competition was held on the initiative of the NGO “Municipal Guard” and the Ukrainian section of the International Police Academy. Alina wrote a piece about her uncle and Olha wrote about her grandfather, a famous doctor of Cherkasy. Following essay contest girls were recognized as one of the best. At the ceremony, held at the Palace of Youth, girls and their supervisor, a history teacher Olexandr Sotulenko received diplomas and monetary awards.
