Wartime nativity scene

On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, a friendly family of the 5-I grade presented the teachers, students and guests of the school with a traditional Ukrainian performance – VERTEP. The audience was presented with the eternal Biblical story about the birth of Jesus Christ in a modern context. Angels, shepherds, kings, and magi became harbingers of Christmas. The students depicted the Virgin Mary with Joseph, King Herod with Satan and other biblical characters on stage and reformatted the past to the events of our time in Ukraine. The final chord of the Vertep was the performance of the classic Ukrainian carol “Good evening to you, Master!”
Sincere thanks to the parents and students and the class teacher L.V. Dovhal for the moments of joy in the difficult wartime.
