As part of the school games, chess competitions were held in two stages, qualifying and final. Pupils of 5-11 grades took part in the selection part and fought for the right to participate in the final part for two days. Not all participants had the strength to go further. At the same time, the best have already continued to fight for awards. After the draw, two semifinals took place, which revealed the finalists and participants who competed for third place. In the final game, the winner and gold medal was a student of 5-V class Koval I., who competed with the future silver medalist, Manshylin M. from 6-A class. T. Sydorenko (6-A) and D. Danylevskyi (7-B) competed for bronze, where T. Sydorenko proved to be stronger and took the bronze step of the pedestal.
