Literary meeting
On the occasion of National Day of libraries 10A class students met the famous Lviv writer Halina Vdovychenko. The meeting was held in the Regional Children’s Library. While talking to the students learned about the biography of Halina Vdovychenko, which now also operates deputy chief editor of the daily newspaper “High Castle”. They learned about her hobbies: travel Ukraine, alpine skis, photos, fashion design and interior design.
During the meeting the students became acquainted with the works of the writer, bought a book with her autograph. Students were interested in a book for children (“36 and 6 cats”, “Mishka Mouse”), and the novels “Half of an apple”, “Bora” and others.
Literary meetings and collaboration with the city libraries have become traditional for our school, so we are always glad to communicate with extraordinary and creative personalities.
