Our school is at the origins of the introduction and development of inclusive education in the city. Back in 2007, a class with education for children with musculoskeletal disorders was opened for the first time. Since then, every year the school family is replenished with students with special educational needs. We have a strong tradition of integration and socialization for this category of students.
As part of the further implementation and development of inclusive education, providing support to parents and students, we were visited by distinguished guests: Government Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Barantsova Tetiana Viktorivna, representative of the Government Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Cherkasy Regional State Administration issues of activity of executive bodies of the council of the Cherkasy city council Harkava Maryna Oleksandrivna, acting director of the department of education and humanitarian policy Belov Bohdan Oleksandrovych, head of the department of education Stepko Yevhenii Petrovych. They met with parents, teachers and school administration, discussed urgent issues, worked out further cooperation strategy. At the end of the meeting, the guests wished the school to continue working on the development of inclusive education and promised to provide financial support.
