Blue ribbon – against violence
In today’s world, along with goodness and joy, there is room for cruelty and violence. Sometimes it is adult violence against children, cruelty of some children towards others… No one will be able to change our world and make it good in just one day, but you can at least try to reduce the number of evil.
In order to prevent violence among students, the school held a preventive school action “Blue Ribbon – Against Violence”. It is known that the blue ribbon symbolizes bruises on the child’s body and at the same time the blue color serves as a constant reminder of the need to combat violence. Leaders of student government together with practical psychologist Lytovchenko T.S. during the breaks held informational minutes; told the children about the history of the action, about the existence of various forms and manifestations of violence, ways to avoid conflict situations. High school students invited students and teachers to join the action and tied them with blue ribbons.
The school action made students think about what each of us can do to break the cycle of cruelty and violence, to change the world for the better.
