During the spring break, pupils of 7B and 7V classes (class leaders O. Klymenko, Solomka O.M.) visited Kyiv. Seven classes first visited the Klichko Brothers Museum, which is located on the territory of the Sports Palace. The tour started with the sports show of the achievements of the Hero of Ukraine Vitaliy Klychko. A multimedia presentation was created by German specialists. With the help of the show students plunged into an atmosphere similar to the fights of legendary Ukrainian boxers. There are many exhibits of brothers’ champion’s clothes in the museum. In addition, Volodymyr transferred the Olympic medal to the museum, which was elected in 1996 in Atlanta, and Vitaliy – the star of the Hero of Ukraine and the Order of the State.
During the trip students attended the National Science Museum of Ukraine. The children saw the nature of the various corners of our planet and what the earth was a million years ago. Seventh graders visited five departments of the museum: Paleontological, Archaeological, Geological, Zoological and Botanical. Their total area is 8 thousand square meters, and the number of exhibits – more than 30 thousand. The students learned about the origin and evolution of the Earth, its structure, the ancient and modern flora and fauna, the history of ancient tribes and peoples. The museum collection is one of the richest in Europe. The most interesting exhibits are the skeletons of extinct animals – mammoth, bull-tour, steller cow, as well as a petrified tree, frozen in amber. Visiting the museum, the seven-year-olds went through all stages of the creation of the Earth, expanded their knowledge of the flora and fauna.
Upon completion of the trip, students were introduced to this type of transport, as a funicular. Its line connects Hell and the Upper City. The road passes the covered slope of Volodymyr Hill. This is a rare type of transport, which is only in Kiev and Odessa.
