With Shevchenko in the heart
The first stage of the VІІІ International Taras Shevchenko for pupils and student Youth Literature Contest has begun. Pupils in grades 5-11 carried out creative tasks: they commented on the words of prominent people about the great Kobzar, called the works from which the excerpts were given, stacked the image (an imaginary picture caused by the lines of his poetry) and gave answers to questions concerning the biography and works of Taras Hryhorovych.
In the recreation of the second floor, an exhibition of illustrations was opened to the works of the prominent poet, in which the students showed their vision of heroes and the life of that time.
Winners of the 1st stage of the language and literature competition will represent the school at the city level.
Note: The international linguistic and literary competition of Taras Shevchenko pupilss and students contributes to the rise of the prestige of the Ukrainian language and literature, increases the level of general linguistic culture, and educates its participants in the sense of pride for their people, love for their native land: honors the Great Kobzar, the world-class poet Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko.
