European tourism on the map of Cherkasy region
Student of 9B class Lilia Shevchenko won the 1st place in the regional festival-competition “European Tourism on the map of Cherkasy region”. The girl won the “Essay” nomination by writing it on “European values in my school”, where she talked about tolerant attitude towards people with special needs. Lilia helped the coordinator of the Euro club “Commonwealth” Kostenko V.V. The awards were held at the Cherkasy National Technological University where the winners received certificates and gifts.
School administration, school parliament, academic council of children’s association “Country of Adventures”, students and teachers sincerely congratulate Lilia Shevchenko and Coordinator of the Euro club “Commonwealth” Victoria Valeriievna Kostenko with a significant victory and wish further success in introducing European values into our school.
Note: The festival-competition “European tourism on the map of Cherkasy region” was held with the purpose of disseminating information about the EU and the processes of European integration of Ukraine, introduction of European values among students of 14 years of age (grades 9-11), identification and support of young talents, giving them the opportunity to realize their creative potential, the formation of a high individual, ethical culture, spiritual enrichment of personality.
