There are forever names in history that are proud to say, remember, and honor humanity. In the first days of March, we again remember the great son of our people – Taras Shevchenko. How many years have passed since the poet’s birth, but he still lives under the sun of Ukraine, the Kobzar word, the word of great, undying love for his people, his land.
Interesting and informative! This is how memory week went. After all, the holidays do not pass differently. Students of grades 9-11 took part in the “My Shevchenko” quest, during which they moved historical and artistic stations.
In the lobby of the school, the entire school family participated in the game “True or Fake”, answering questions about the life and work of the Great Kobzar. The creativity of Taras Shevchenko inspired the students of grades 5-9, and 9-A created the tubes and drawings.
The 10th graders visited the local museum for a visit to Kobzar. With the Shevchenko Monuments project, children have expanded their outlook to learn about his worldly grandeur.
For the first time, the Poetry Break was held in the school hall, where poems were performed by students. Children creatively approached this task. The students of 5-A class not only read poetry, but also performed the song “Cherry Garden near House”.
High school students dived into the world of cinema, watching a movie from the series “The Most Outstanding Ukrainians”, “My Shevchenko”.
Such events foster patriotic feelings, love for the native country, the desire to get to know the creativity of the brilliant Ukrainian poet, artist, and fighter for the will of the people!
