All-Ukrainian lesson of national identity
Today, students from our school joined the All-Ukrainian lesson of national identity.
The event was held live on the official YouTube channel of the National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine at the following address: https://youtube.com/live/DQxSpLUPS0o
Organizers: Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine, State Scientific Institution “Institute for Modernization of Educational Content” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Association of Innovative and Digital Education and National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine.
The lesson was conducted with the participation of famous Ukrainians in order to provide the younger generation with an understanding of the essence of Ukrainian identity, awareness of the factors that unite the Ukrainian nation and determine its strength, as well as to reveal the meaning of being Ukrainian. It consisted of six blocks, each of which was dedicated to one of the important elements of Ukrainian identity: identity and statehood, cuisine, literature, sports, cinema and music. In a live discussion, the presenters, together with prominent Ukrainians, talked about how national identity is formed, what Ukrainian consciousness consists of, and why every citizen is an important part of Ukrainian statehood. Each of the participants of the event realized – I AM UKRAINIAN.
