Teachers of English Voskolovych Zh.Yu., Voitsekhovska O.V. and Tereshchenko I.V. took part in scientific workshops. Training held at the Cherkasy Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education teaching staff with the support of publishers «Express Publishing», «MM Publications in Ukraine.” English teachers improved their knowledge of language teaching methods, preparation for testing, STA – 2017, shared their experience.

Master class by Steve Livera (UK) has become an educational platform for successful technology of implementation of speaking. Practical components of these technologies create favorable conditions to study the ability of the XXI century. Methodist of “FOLIO boxwood” Natalia Liashko familiarized the participants with teaching literature Publishing Express Publishing and held a demonstration lesson with its use.

Workshop on “Modern foreign language lesson,” which held Methodist Publishing House «MM Publications in Ukraine” Victoria Plishkova, was a continuation of a professional conversation activation speaking in English lessons. The main topics of discussion were modern techniques, approaches and learning strategies, communication-playing activity as a way of overcoming language difficulties.

During a scientific workshop on the issue of “testing-STA – 2017: new strategies” held accompanied Methodist consultant publishing «Macmillan education Ukraine» Nestoiter Inna Arkadievna, addressed such issues as the use of competency approach to learning the language as life skill; consistency in preparing students for successful examination; creating a motivational environment; synthesis strategies and prepare students for testing, STA.

School teachers were actively involved in the workshop and will gladly perform interactive exercises. Obtaining knowledge of English language teachers will use during the lessons, electives and in extracurricular activities.
