XVIII All-Ukrainian tournament of young biologists has ended in the famous city of Poltava. The only representative from the Cherkasy region at TUB – 2019 was the team of Kopeksop. The team also included students of our school: team captain – Nikita Tovstopiat (11-B), Serhii Lysenko (11-A), Anastasia Dorofeeva (9-A), team leader biology and ecology teacher Dovhal L.V. The event was attended by 24 teams of student youth, teachers, and members of the jury from Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Kharkiv, Khmelnitsky, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi regions and the city of Kiev, who fought for the right to choose to act in questions from different fields of biology. In addition to the demonstration of knowledge and erudition, the participants had the opportunity to improve teamwork skills, conduct discussions, and argue their views on current issues of the present. The team of Kopeksop for the first time became a participant in the final of the All-Ukrainian TUB-2019. The young biologists were awarded the diplomas of participants and winners, and were also nominated in the nominations: “Personal Championship”, “Successful Participation”, “Best Speaker”, “Best Reviewer” and “Best Opponent”. Each participant received a souvenir from Poltava region, and the winners were rewarded with valuable gifts.
