The second day of Foreign Language Week blossomed into a veritable kaleidoscope of emotions, discoveries, and language adventures! Students set off on exciting journeys through different countries and cultures, demonstrating not only knowledge, but also ingenuity, creativity, and team spirit. Interactive games, quests, quizzes, and creative tasks filled the educational process with excitement and inspiration, proving that learning languages is not only useful but also truly exciting!
Students of grade 1-B, together with teacher Cherniavska A.V., immersed themselves in the game “Britain Fun World,” where they actively demonstrated their knowledge of Great Britain. They answered questions, recognized the country’s symbols, and enthusiastically completed interactive tasks. The stage with flags added a special drive — the children raised them by choosing the correct answers, which made the game even more dynamic and emotional.
Second-graders of class 2-B (teacher Cherniavska A.V.) became real researchers during the quest “Great Britain Code Breaker”. They solved codes, matched images with letters and, step by step, got closer to solving the secret code. The game gave vivid impressions and helped to better understand the culture and symbols of Great Britain.
Students of class 4-I, together with teacher Yurin O.Ye., immersed themselves in the world of the English language during the game “British Bingo”. Children listened carefully to the descriptions, found the correct words and crossed them out on the cards. The atmosphere was lively and exciting, and Uliana Bereza won – congratulations!
5-A class (teacher Tsarenko N.V.) took part in the interactive game “This or That: British Edition”, dedicated to the culture of Great Britain. They answered questions about traditions, symbols, and everyday life, choosing one of two options using colour signals. This format involved all participants and made the lesson especially dynamic.
Students of grade 5-B, together with Kolomiiets L.M., made a map of Great Britain in the format of puzzles. The work quickly turned into an exciting team process: children discussed, collaborated, and step by step recreated the map of the country, filling the lesson with emotions and excitement.
7-A class (teacher Yurin O.Ye.) recited poems by English-speaking authors, chosen according to their own preferences. Each performance reflected the students’ individuality, their emotions, and tastes. They demonstrated good pronunciation, artistry, and sincere love for the English language.
Students of grade 9-A, together with teacher Klymenko A.V., made an exciting virtual trip to Great Britain. Traveling through an interactive quest, they remembered the geographical location of the country, determined which states it borders with, recognized the flag, and also discovered famous monuments and prominent personalities. The journey turned out to be informative, dynamic, and full of interesting discoveries.
Students of grade 5-I (teacher Liashchenko A.O.) accompanied by grade 11-A immersed themselves in the atmosphere of France during the interactive quest “Les secrets de Paris”. They received a mysterious letter from a resident of Paris who had lost the keys to the city. To find them, the students had to follow the route of the main monuments and reveal their secrets. The most impressive was the station “Le musée Louvre”, where the children solved the mystery of the painting “Mona Lisa”.
This day’s learning turned into a real adventure: new vocabulary was remembered easily and naturally, and positive emotions became the best motivation for further language learning.
