The fifth and final day of the Foreign Language Week at school flew by like a colourful celebration of knowledge, inspiration, and discoveries. Every day, the school was filled with new languages, accent melodies, and smiles of students who happily dived into the world of another culture. Creative projects, theatre performances, language quests, and song contests turned ordinary days into a real journey across the continents.
During the last day, students in grades 3-6 had the opportunity to join an interesting quest “World around us,” which was organized for them by senior students of grade 10-A (teacher Karbivnycha I.V.). During which, students not only expanded their knowledge about the world around them, nature, culture, and the relationship between humans and the environment, but also developed logical thinking, observation, and the ability to work in a team. Young researchers skilfully demonstrated their knowledge of the country and their command of a foreign language, and as a result, they received English-language stickers with images of London’s landmarks.
Students of grade 11-B (teacher Voskolovych Zh.Yu.) conducted an exciting quest trip for grade 5-B to landmarks in different parts of the world “Wonders Around the World”. Schoolchildren travelled to stations where they discovered amazing pearls of our planet.
The performance by Daniil Shedin, who presented the poetry of Oscar Wilde, and Camilla Petrush, who read the poetry of Robert Frost (teacher Yurin O.Ye.) left an incredible impression.
The week ended with fun breaks “Happy breaks”, during which students happily sang and performed English-language movements, giving themselves and others a wonderful mood and bright emotions.
It was a time when everyone could try themselves as a polyglot, overcome the fear of speaking an unfamiliar language and feel the joy of understanding.
It was a week that not only expanded vocabulary, but also opened hearts to the diversity of the world.
