#Celebrate Easter at home
#Healthy Schools: For the sake of healthy and joyful schoolchildren
Easter is traditionally used by Ukrainians to celebrate families by preparing Easter flavors. The current situation did not make it possible to gather a large family at the holiday table, but the students decided to share their holiday mood and joined the activities of Healthy Schools: for the sake of healthy and joyful students. They baked and decorated the Easter cake, painted Easter eggs, and cooked delicious Easter dishes. They shared the pictures as if they were uniting together at a large family table under the slogan “Celebrate Easter at home”.
Preparing to celebrate Easter, 1st grade students worked on the Easter Tradition from Past to Present project. Young educators have explored not only the colorful symbolism of Easter eggs, but also the current tendencies of painting eggs. The project resulted in the creation of an Easter tree, which symbolizes the renewal of not only nature but also Ukrainian culture.
