Anastasia Pustovit World Championship
Silver and bronze medals were brought from the 8A World Class Sambo Wrestling Championship by Anastasia Pustovit. The second place went to the girl in the grappling version, and the third place was in the grappling know-how. The World Championship was held in the capital of Azerbaijan – Baku.
For five years, Anastasia has been involved in sambo wrestling and, due to her persistence, her athletic will; she has excelled in international, Ukrainian, regional and city competitions.
The whole school family welcomes Anastasia and wishes for further loud and bright victories!
Note: Grappling is a combat sport, a complex type of wrestling, based on the positional maneuvering of two athletes, each of whom, through painful and suffocating techniques, tries to subdue the opponent, as well as gain more points in the process of fighting through different techniques (dumps, hobbies, throws, coups, kicks, shoots, etc.).
