The world of our rights
The All-Ukrainian Law Week was dedicated to shaping the legal culture and consciousness of the students. At information hours “World of My Rights”, in grades 1-11, students raised their level of knowledge about their rights guaranteed in the Constitution and laws of Ukraine in different spheres of life. During the week, a collection of thematic literature was held in the school library, and the exhibition My Drawings and Duties at the second floor recreation. Grades 3-4 students viewed animated tapes on children’s rights, and first graders painted artwork on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child during art therapy. Fourth-grade students met with police in Cherkasy. Deputy Head of School for Educational Work Parnacheva N.V. hosted the game “Country of Dignity with 11th grade students, and teacher-organizer Korkishko I.O. invited the 5-7th grade students to brainstorming “Do you know your rights?” Social teacher of the school, Kharchenko Ya.Yu., with the students of 8B class on the interactive lesson “Stop Bulling!”, spoke about the legal aspects of this problem.
During the All-Ukrainian Law Week, students understood the importance of legal education for every citizen of Ukraine, respect for the laws and respect for human rights.
