For eight months, our school, the only one in the region and one of seven in Ukraine, is implementing the School of Peace project. One of the stages of the project is the exchange of experience on the achievements of the project. Students and teachers shared their achievements, impressions and plans for the future during the educational forum “Peaceful and safe educational environment – the goal and steps to create”. The participants of the forum were greeted by the head of the sector for prevention of neglect of children of the Department of Children’s Rights Protection of the Cherkasy City Council Dobrovolska A.A., consultant of the Center for Professional Development of Teachers for Educational Work Derkach L.M. and school principal Zavinovskyi V.I. The forum had a positive, friendly atmosphere, which contributed to the most effective interaction. Unfortunately, the quarantine restrictions of the “red zone” did not allow to hold the forum in full, inviting representatives of the educational community of the city and region. We hope that in the near future quarantine conditions will allow holding the second stage of the forum to the general public. The project is implemented by the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Near” (hereinafter – NGO “Near”), Kherson Community Foundation “Protection” in partnership with the Children’s Foundation of Germany (ChildFund Deutschland) and funded by the Institute of International Relations, Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
