Eighteen six-year school students were trained at the Information and Education Center “Ecological Guard”. The center works in the village Vyhraiev the Korsun-Shevchenko district of Cherkasy region. The time spent in the center became extremely active and driving for young nature and life lovers in the style of Eco – students and 6B class pupils and their teachers – Zadyranov O.B. and Dovhal L.V. The training was carried out within the framework of the activity of the VDs School Center “Ecological Guard” and “School Workshop for Sustainable Development”
During the study, young eco-activists traveled along the protected areas of the ecological trail of the Ecological Guard Center, held an unforgettable evening near the guardian center, took pride in their victorious Cossack region, and made excursions to the Museum of Cossack Fame. They also visited the regional history museum of Korsun-Shevchenkivsky. The schoolchildren admired the beautiful nature of the forest and received aesthetic pleasure in the Art Gallery and the park on the island of Yantalk in Korsun. The sixth graders in practice studied the rules of forest management and improved their skills of “quiet hunting” – collecting mushrooms, recognizing and identifying belongings to edible. The result of quiet hunting is 3 kg. of white, buttermilk and boletus.
The weather contributed to the students holding the campaign “Plant Your Tree” and in the center of the area there will now be a whole alley of birch trees planted by the hands of young environmentalists. In memory of our trip, our Warts landed as a gift to the Ecological Guard Center 21 bulbs of tulips that will admire the eyes of all guests and employees of the environmental camp.
