School family against violence!
The international campaign “16 days against violence” started today at the school. It takes place all over the world from November 25 to December 10. The action aims to increase public awareness, massively mobilize people for changes related to the problems of overcoming family violence, combating human trafficking and child abuse, gender-based violence and ensuring equal rights of women and men.
On the first day of the action, on November 25, the school family celebrated the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. In order to prevent manifestations of brutality and violence among students, the school held information hours in grades 1-11, during which class teachers told students about the history of the action, the existence of various forms and manifestations of violence, and ways to avoid conflict situations.
The international action “16 days against violence” makes students think about what each of us can do to break the cycle of cruelty and violence, to change the world for the better, especially during war.
