The whole school family inclines the heads to those killed on Holodomor’s Day of Remembrance. On the eve of the commemoration of this tragic event in the history of our country, the pupils of the upper classes took part in the Holodomor Victims’ Memorial that took place in the city’s House of Culture named after I. Kulyk. From the scene poems sounded, songs performed by lovers and professional actors. The participants of the evening honored the victims of the moment with a minute of silence, reviewed the documentaries with the memories of the participants of those tragic events.

On the Remembrance Day of the victims of the Holodomor, every family will light a candle symbolizing the unity of Ukrainians against the repetition of those terrible events.

Note: The Holodomor of 1932-1933 is a genocide of the Ukrainian people organized by the leadership of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and the government of the USSR in 1932-1933 by creating an artificial mass famine, which led to multimillion human losses in the countryside on the territory of the Ukrainian SRD and the Kuban, the vast majority of whom were Ukrainians.
