This is the completion of the school Olympic week.

This year it was especially rich and diverse. The week started with the flash mob “Together We are Power!”, which was prepared by 10-A grade pupils (teacher Nechyporenko S.O.) and 7-grade pupils (teacher Dikhtiarenko O.V.) for elementary school students. Pupils of 3-4 classes were looking for an Olympic fire fighting in the “Small Olympic Games”. Students took part in various sports competitions “The Fastest”, “Race in Chariots”, “Going to the Goal”, “The Barrier of Interference” (Teachers Diachenko A.I., Verbytskyi S.V.). Under the slogan “Faster! Above! Stronger!” Pioneerball competitions among 5-6th forms (teachers Nechyporenko S.O., Dikhtiarenko O.V.) were held, and boys of 7-9th forms competed for the Cup of football school (teacher Dikhtiarenko O.V., Verbytskyi S.V.). Pupils of 1-2 classes competed in various interesting relay races “Kangaroo”, “Spider”, “Planting potatoes”, “Friendly crossing. During the week in the recreation of the school worked exhibitions of drawings and photographs which showed favorite sports. During the unique classroom “Olympic lesson” the children became acquainted with the history of various Olympic sports: acrobatics, athletics, football, basketball, and others. In the classes, conversations were held on the meaning of sport in every person’s life, and on life safety, and quizzes for the best connoisseur of the history of the Olympic Games. Incredible impressions have left volleyball competition between teams of teachers and students of 9-10 grades. There were no students without attention and well-known athletes. So the students of the 8th grade met and talked with well-known athlete Andrii Ivanovych Khimich. Schoolchildren of grades 6-7 attended a master-class on archery, which was conducted by the master of sports of Ukraine on sports archery with onions Gnatenko Oleksandr, coach teacher, KSYUSSH №2. Both meetings took place thanks to the cooperation of the school with representatives of the NOC of Ukraine in the Cherkasy region. During the week, the pupils of the sports club “Cherkasky Tigry”, who showed with their enthusiasm their talents and skills from taekwondo, came to school. And in the end, the entire school family was able to join the master class from the famous dancer, choreographer Maksym Orobets.

“Olympic Week” has successfully opened a sports school for pupils in 2018-2019 school year.
