Online meeting with a volunteer
4th grade students took part in an online meeting with a volunteer from Sweden – Bengt Åke Nilsson as part of an initiative to develop communication skills in English.
The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. During the conversation, the students actively asked questions, shared their hobbies and talked about Ukrainian traditions. Mr. Nilsson willingly supported the dialogue, using simple and understandable vocabulary, which helped the children feel confident in their own language skills.
Such meetings not only contribute to learning a foreign language, but also form in students an openness to the world, interest in other cultures and self-confidence. The children are looking forward to the next online meeting.
