Work in the summer scientific camp is under way. Students 6-A, 6-B, 7-B and 7-V classes (teacher Solomka O. M.) working on projects on the topic “Literature of the native land”, made a walking tour of the city, honored the glory of the Great Poet near the monument T.H. Shevchenko, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of his reburial. The students visited the museum “Kobzar”, which is located in the house of the brothers Tsybulsky and contains many rare editions of this book. It is often called the only museum in the world of one book. In this building, from July 18 till July 22, 1859, the poet himself lived, as evidenced by the memorial plaque. The campers joined the history of the poet’s work, the sources of his work, and looked at the most interesting publications, where the evolution of the illustration of Shevchenko’s works and the Kobzar in translations of the languages of the peoples of the world were traced.
Pupils of the 5th grade (teachers Artiomova U.O., Prudenko V.V.) visited the printing center 306, where they became acquainted with the processes of producing textbooks, brochures, notepads and laminating documents. In memory of the meeting, every student got a business note pad as a present.
