United Nations Model
The students of our school participated for the second time in the city game “Model of United Nations”. During the game, students who are ambassadors of their country covered attitudes to global issues and events. Countries were chosen by lot at a meeting of the Inter Auditions. Speaker of the school, and this year, Head of the UNESCO Saiun Lilia, pulled Netherlands. The Security Council has delegated Tsyhannyk Yelyzaveta to present the position on nuclear weapons. Victoria Malomuzh in UNESCO discussed the problem of preservation of architectural monuments. Fartushnia Alisa successfully reported to the committee on “Epidemic: problems and remedies.” Natalia Kolomiets solved the problem of water resources in UNEP. Karbivnychyi Maksym highlighted racism in the Human Rights Committee. Each delegate was informed well in his subject, because the training was highlighted a few months. With experience and knowledge, students, part-time and ambassadors of the Netherlands, well presented and defended their country after school. After working in committees, the annual tradition held ball. Diplomatic Ball held at the Cherkasy Regional Art Museum. Young girls become ladies of moderate to elegant ladies in ball gowns and guys in tuxedos look like real gentlemen. The rewarding of participants was held after the ball.
