The two-day training “LOGO Inclusion. Tandem training” is organized by the Cherkasy Department of Education and Humanitarian Policy, the International Institute of Inclusion, the Municipal Institution “Centre for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers” of the Cherkasy City Council and the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Cherkasy National University, Department of Primary Education.
The training was opened by speaker Nataliia Suhovienko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, speech therapist, defectologist, pedagogue of the deaf, practical psychologist, psychotherapist. She explained the peculiarities of speech disorders in children of different age categories, proposed her own methods for diagnosing and correcting speech disorders.
After the coffee break, the training was continued by speaker Zoriana Leniv, specialist in inclusive education, founder of the International Institute of Inclusion, associate professor of Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University, candidate of pedagogical sciences. Zoriana Pavlivna has considerable international experience, completed internships at universities in Canada, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Spain. She has more than 45 scientific articles and abstracts of reports, in particular on the use of music therapy in speech therapy work, diagnosis of oral speech of older pre-schoolers by means of art therapy, and on issues of inclusive education.
The work of the participants of the training was activated by the rubric “Ask – we answer”, where the participants had the opportunity to discuss questions and express their own opinions and impressions.
