Taras Shevchenko Competition
The second stage of the X anniversary of the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition brought the school three victories at once. The students of 5-A class Veronika Rozina (teacher L.M. Barsukova), 6-A class Nika Tropina (teacher Honchar T.A.) and 11A class Anastasia Nehrii (teacher Satanivska I.V.) took the third places.
The main purpose of the competition is to honor the creative heritage of Taras Shevchenko, to encourage young people to study Ukrainian language and literature. During the competition, the students performed creative work – a work with a grammatical task, found idioms in the text, introduced dialogues and direct language, quotes of the great Kobzar, used homogeneous sentences with a generalizing word.
The school family is proud of the winners, their teachers and wants to continue the arduous work of promoting and spreading the Ukrainian language.
