Teachers of biology Dovhal L.V. and Klymenko O.I. took part in the All-Ukrainian Forum “Climatic Education – 2018″. The event took place in Kyiv in order to share experience with the best practices for integrating environmental issues into formal and informal education. In the forum, which took place at the initiative of the public association “College of Environmental Education” World of Education”, the Department of Meteorology and Climatology of the Taras Shevchenko National University, supported by the representation of the Heinrich Böllle Foundation in Ukraine, the network of non-governmental environmental organizations “Ukrainian Climate Network” took participation of about 120 participants from all over Ukraine. Our teachers attended master classes, presentations, trainings on environmental education. Ecological Games “Green Manager”, “Life Network” and “Ozonekeshen” training kit were presented to the participants of the forum, which is aimed at raising awareness among students about climate change and the need to protect the ozone layer. Liudmyla Volodymyrivna and Olena Ivanivna received the sets of games “Green Manager” and “Life Network” and are currently developing a provision for the school tournament.
Soon, the school will initiate the city-wide games “Green Manager”, “Network of Life” and “Ozonekeshen”. We invite everyone to join our initiative!
