For the first time  Forum “Climatic education-2016” within the project Climate Forum East II was held in Ukraine. Among the participants of the Forum was L.V. Dovgal, Biology and Ecology teacher of our school. The event united more than 100 teachers and activists from the whole Ukraine and was dedicated to the issue of climate change in formal and informal education.

The event was held within the project Climate Forum East II  with financial support of the European Commission, Austrian Development Agency and Austrian Red Cross and it was supported by the National ecological center of Ukraine. Forum Organizers: public organization «College of ecological education «The world of Education» and public organization «The Ukrainian ecological club “Green Wave”».

School and university teachers, activists and volunteers, representatives of the international organizations etc shared the experience of work in climatic education and discussed the possibilities of cooperation in integration of the issues of climate change in formal and informal education in Ukraine.

The projects of the international organizations in the field of climatic education were presented at the Forum as well as the games on climate change « By playing we would change the world». Also the issues of integration of climate change in the formal education in Ukraine were discussed.

The organizers plan to hold the Forum “Climatic education yearly. It should be the place for the exchange of experience between the teachers and representatives of public organizations. The participants would see already realized climatic and educational projects and obtain the source of inspiration to create the new ones.

L.V. Dovhal would share the acquired knowledge and experience with her colleagues and use it in the lessons and every day activity.
