The goal of the week is to show students how solutions are born from ideas, and inventions from dreams. To prove to students that there are no uninteresting subjects and if you don’t like mathematics, physics, chemistry or biology, you are simply not familiar with them well. The aim is in some students, to awaken curiosity, and in others, to help satisfy it at least a little. The week began with the construction of the “Tower”, which was built by young engineers of the 3rd grade.
Students of the 4th grade joined the fascinating world of science and technology. This time, students not only learned more about the inventions of antiquity, but also made their own model of the Archimedes screw — one of the most famous mechanisms used to raise water.
Using the idea and with the help of his parents, Kovalenko Bohdan even made this device using a 3D printer.
Students of grade 8-B learned a lot of interesting things during an ecology lesson on the topic “Precious Water” – a lesson from the Engineering Week program.
While working on projects, students showed creativity, teamwork, and engineering thinking. They were convinced that science can be not only informative, but also extremely interesting! The week continues. #engineeringweek #becauseinteresting
