Students and parents took part in all-Ukrainian action “Charity instead of flowers.” On the Day of knowledge they gave teachers instead of flowers certificates of charity road worth more than a thousand UAH. The action took place thanks to the initiative of the charity fund “Tabletochky” on site “Child Development”. The collected funds were transferred and directed to the treatment of children with cancer in Ukraine. Every year in Ukraine, about 1,000 children under age 18 face cancer. 70% of children with cancer have all chances to recover, but a third of them die because of the high cost of drugs and untimely treatment. Helping a child with cancer, we give them a chance for life.
The most active philanthropists were students and parents of 2B, 2B, 3A, 6B and 11A classes.
