Earth Day 2020
# stayathome # interact
Dear school family! Let’s join the flash mob! 22 April at 09.00 we invite you to support the action “Peace Bell on Earth Day!” – at the link: https://bit.ly/3cygMQv.
On Earth Day, in different countries, traditionally, the bell of peace is heard, urging the people of the Earth to feel the planetary community and to make efforts to protect peace on the planet and preserve the beauty of our common home. The bell of peace is a symbol of peace, peaceful life and friendship, eternal brotherhood and the solidarity of peoples. At the same time, it is a call to action for the sake of preserving peace and life on Earth, preserving man and culture.
Due to the quarantine that has been introduced by most countries around the world because of the coronavirus pandemic, events and actions dedicated to Earth Day on April 22 are scheduled to be held online.
The global action will be combined with the hashtag #EarthDay2020 and #EARTHRISE.
Earth Day Network will provide live coverage of global digital mobilization from its social media accounts – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram – an event that will take place on digital platforms to mark the 50th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22.
