Inclusion Day

For many years our school determines International Day for inclusion. Today, the second grade students visited the special class. Second-graders read poems, sang songs and gave speeches; at the end they gave sweets to their friends. Such meetings have become traditional for all students of the school concerned issues related to inclusive education.

According to UNESCO’s inclusive education is a “process of treatment and response to the diverse needs of students by ensuring their participation in education, cultural activities and community life and reducing exclusion in education and the learning process.” The aim of inclusive education is to improve the educational environment in which teachers and students are open to diversity, which is guaranteed by the needs of students and respect for their abilities and opportunities to be successful.
