Day of harmony in nature 2021
Today, students and teachers traveled the green trails of Victory Park, following all anti-epidemic measures. For the fourth time school family gathers together in a charming ecologically clean corner of our city. Students visited and performed tasks at the stations song, sports and environmental movement. After successfully completing the tasks at the route stations, the students were waiting for a quest in the renovated zoo. The school family was hospitably received by one of the best institutions in Ukraine, where there is a unique opportunity to communicate directly with the representatives of the animal world.
Communication with “our younger brothers” left unforgettable impressions on students and teachers.
Note: Cherkasy City Zoo was founded on May 1, 1979 on the basis of the zoo of the station of young naturalists. Then its territory was 3.7 hectares. By the time of its opening, its collection included 86 species of animals. Currently, the area of the zoo is 4.37 hectares, and the zoo’s collection includes more than 270 species of animals from around the world.
