Dear students, teachers, parents, school friends and community of the city! We sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine!
The history of the blue-yellow bond Ukraine goes deep into the centuries. Yet a thousand years ago, the Kiev princes under the sky-blue crowns decorated with gold, acted in campaigns to protect their land. Zaporozhski Cossacks fought for the Orthodox faith under blue flags with a golden cross. Blue and yellow colors from the earliest times became an organic part of the state heraldry; today these colors represent the cloudless peaceful sky and ripe wheat fields – a symbol of wealth.
Under the colors of national flag, the people of Ukraine build their free society and prosperous state with pride and inspiration.
In today’s solemn feast we wish you peace and good, new successes on the noble way of building a free, strong, prosperous country.
