Democratic school
A first organizational meeting with coaches of all-Ukrainian project “Democratic School” was held. Trainers introduced participants the program, its purpose, objectives, concepts, directions and stages of development.Teaching staff reviewed and discussed videos «School factory» and «Letter of children with behavior of their teachers.” The participants got acquainted with the three dimensions of democratic school, deepened knowledge of the principles of EDC / OPL and their implementation. The next day, representatives of the student, parent and teacher groups found out using the tools of school development and monitoring changes in the level of democratic transformations in our school. High school students became participants of the training which discussed “What is democratic school?”, “What should / can / should be done in the project?” and expressed their opinion about the importance of democratic change.
Following the meeting, the school will develop an action plan taking into account the views of pupils, parents and teachers to help implement democratic principles in school life.
