Debate Tournament “Cherkasy-2018″
The club “Status” took the third place in the city debate tournament “Cherkasy-2018″. 9A class students Alina Koval, Evelina Ihnatieva, Anna Inozemets, Vladyslav Ihnatenko (teachers Voskolovych Zh.Yu., Sotulenko O.Yu.) competed with the theme “Historical myths contribute to the study of history”. 17 teams from Cherkasy, Krasna Sloboda and Zolotonosha took part in the tournament. During the tournament, each team played two games – in the role of “Confirmation” and “Denial”. After that, each team went through a mandatory improvisation round, for which teams they had 15 minutes to prepare. The final of the team also played an improvisational round on “Physical Education – Better Debate”.
The school administration, the school parliament, the Academic Council of the Children’s Association “Country of Adventures” , students and teachers sincerely congratulate the “Status” team and their leaders Zhanna Voskolovych, Oleksandr Sotulenko, on the significant achievements and wish further success in the debate tournaments.
