Only when you know, how to act in this or that extreme situation, you can feel safe. We lay a solid foundation for a future safe life by learning the rules of the road. From November 16 to 23, the school hosted the Road Safety Week, the purpose of which was to involve students in the study and observance of traffic rules, safe behavior on city streets, country roads, in transport.
Within the framework of the Week, information hours “Traffic rules – your rules” were held in grades 1-11. Elementary school students took part in educational games “Crossing the street”, “Transport and its role in human life”, an integrated lesson “Traffic light signals. Simulation of a problem situation during a street crossing”. The thematic exhibition in the school library “Road rules are the only ones to remember” turned out to be interesting and instructive. Seventh-graders joined the single national lesson on road safety “Safe Road Home” and the selfie marathon “Road Certificate”. The school’s recreation area hosted a vernissage about road accidents and how to avoid them. The ninth-graders took part in the online game “Rules of the Road for Cyclists”.
During the activities, students solved riddles, drew road signs, played role-playing games, watched cartoons and documentaries.
The events were interesting, meaningful and contributed to the repetition, study and consolidation of knowledge of traffic rules.
