Cooperation with Poland

The school held a meeting with representatives of the Twin City Bydgoszcz (Poland).

Director of the European Institute of the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz, Professor Svitlana Kaszuba and director of the Center of Polish education and integration Oleksii Dokuchaev with the school principal Tkachenko T.Ye. led negotiations on the establishment of the Polish-Ukrainian cultural center of education for students in the city. During negotiations Tetiana Yehorivna familiarized the guests with the work of school in the national project “Education for sustainable development”, “School of Energy-2″, “Democratic school”, “Development of social cohesion of the educational process”; European school activities club “Commonwealth”; Ukrainian education system; outlined the way for signing of the agreement and close cooperation with youth.

After negotiations, a meeting with students of the school was held. During the meeting, students were able to learn more about the twin-city of Bydgoszcz and useful information about studying in Europe. Also Svitlana Kaszuba talked to students and invited to actively participate in the contest “World through the eyes of youth”, which aims to identify and support of children’s talents.

For information: Bydgoszcz – twin-city, located in 1230 km from Cherkasy, ​​located in the historical Kujawy region in northern Poland. The city is a major economic, cultural, scientific, medical, military and sports center. Agreement on cooperation between the cities was signed in September 17, 2000. The cooperation is realized mainly in the humanities – the exchange of creative collectives, groups, artists, etc., as well as in the economic sphere – at entrepreneurs of both cities.

In 2015, students from our school headed by the director T.Tkachenko were in Bydgoszcz, Poland, where was prepared and presented performance of Sławomir Mrozek. Society of Friends Club Ukraine Bydgoszcz invited our school as a partner to the joint project “Bilingual Polish-Ukrainian theatrical performance titled” House at the border”, realized in the contest, announced by the National Center of Culture” Polish-Ukrainian youth exchange”. While in Poland ensued cooperation between our school and Wyższa Szkoła Gospodarki (WSG) http://www.wsg.byd.pl/.
