We are all equal – we are all different
Today the school family celebrates the International Day of People with Disabilities. Our school was the first in the region to introduce inclusive education. For us, this day is not a holiday, but is designed to draw attention to the problems of people with disabilities, protection of their rights, dignity and well-being. This day is a reminder to humanity of its duty to show care and mercy to the most vulnerable part of society. Class teachers of grades 1-11 conducted information hours on the topic: “Opportunities are limited, abilities are limitless”. Pupils of 8-B class took part in the master class on archeology of the native land “They healed souls”, which was conducted by the head of the archeology department of the Cherkasy Museum of Local Lore Syvolap Larysa Hryhorivna. Fifth graders joined the flash mob “We are all equal – we are all different”. In classes where children with special educational needs acquire knowledge, practical classes with elements of training “How to achieve your dreams” were held. The Legal Committee of the school parliament organized and held a partnership meeting with 10th grade students on the topic “We do not remain indifferent”.
