In the framework of events to the International Earth Day, an environmental action was taken to collect secondary raw materials. The whole school family took an active part in this important business for our planet. In the campaign for collecting waste paper “Give a tree a ring!” 4 tons of 326 kg of waste paper were collected, thanks to which we saved more than 360 trees. The largest amount of waste paper was collected by the 2-A class (class teacher Dziuba A.O.) – 825 kg; others were 5B grade students (class teacher Artiomova U.O.) – 500 kg, and the third place was picked by students of the 1-I grade (class teacher Shevchenko N.A.) – 451 kg. The leaders among the students are Olexander Polin (1-І), Daria Olshevskaia (2-A) and Vadym Kharchenko (5-B).
To save the environment, it is necessary to clean the planet from the polyethylene urgently. Therefore, schoolchildren are always involved in this important business, collecting plastic bottles. The first ones were the 2nd grade pupils (class teacher Mohylna T.M.) – 911 bottles, the second place was chosen by pupils of the 5th grade (class teacher Artiomova U.O.) – 848 bottles, the third place was the 6th grade (class teacher Zadyranov O.B.) – 654 bottles. Among the students, the largest number of plastic bottles were collected by Artem Korkishko (2-A), Kira Boltova, Timofei Paliychuk (2-B), Anastasia Kliuchnikova (5-B), Maria Nikolenko and Olexander Savich (6-B). In total, the school students collected 6033 plastic bottles. It is well-known that our school has been one of the leaders of the city for many years to introduce environmental education.
