The friendly school family always cares about the preservation of the environment. During the week, a traditional autumn environmental promotion for the collection of secondary raw materials took place. Despite the war in Ukraine, students, teachers and parents together collected 3 tons and 40 kg of waste paper, thanks to which about 300 trees were saved and joined the All-Ukrainian action “Give a tree a ring!” The largest amount of waste paper was collected by the 2-A class (class teacher A.O. Dziuba) – 467 kg, the second were the students of the 9-B class (class teacher U.O. Artiomova) – 260 kg, and the third place was won by the students of the 1-A class (class teacher Ostapenko S.P.) – 254 kg. In order to preserve the environment, it is necessary to urgently clean the planet from polyethylene. Therefore, schoolchildren always join this important cause by collecting plastic bottles. The students of the 9-B class (class teacher U.O. Artiomova) were the first here – 339 bottles, the second place was won by the students of the 10-B class (class teacher O.B. Zadyranov) – 300 bottles, the third place was taken by the 8-A class (class teacher T.H. Kononenko) – 204 bottles. A total of 2,008 plastic bottles were collected by school students. It is common knowledge that our school has been one of the leaders of the city in implementing environmental education and ideas of sustainable development for many years.
