European Day of Languages
Traditionally, the school celebrated the European Day of Languages, which not only recalls the fact that there are many languages, but also encourages citizens to study them.
Knowing at least one more language – is not just a norm in the modern world, but also a necessity.
Participants of school Euroclub “Commonwealth” prepared leaflets and newspapers devoted this day. They told the students about the history of the celebration of the European Day of Languages and stressed the need to learn foreign languages.
At the beginning of the day pupils conducted a survey among students and teachers about whether they would like to join the European Union. A positive response from the students received label logo holidays, and teachers check on rooms.
In language lessons the students talked about the need to learn foreign languages, their importance and role in the world. For elementary school students were organized oral magazines.
In the breaks were organized flash mobs in English, French and German.
All measures were joyfully received by the students, they were active everywhere.
