During the wonderful time of the “Golden Autumn” students continue to get acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine. Pupils of the 9B and 9A grades (teachers Sotulenko O.Yu., Koval V.I.) visited the “Park of Kievan Rus”, which is located in Kopachiv village, Obukhiv district. The main object of the park is the Dytynets-Kremlin of Ancient Kiev. Ancient buildings were erected on the territory of the park, none of which was preserved until now – the defensive structures, the palace of Prince Volodymyr, the palace of Princess Olga, the Fedorovsky monastery, the Church of Desiatynna, the Yaroslaviv court, Rotunda, and Gridnytsya. The students saw how our ancestors lived and worked; their customs and everyday life.

Students of the 6th and 7th grades, headed by class teachers Satanivska I.V., Voitsekhovska O.V. and Kolomiets L.M. visited the excursion in Uman. The color of Uman is the Sofiyivka Park, the national treasure of Ukraine, the masterpiece of park art. Schoolchildren were able to walk among the masterpieces of nature, walk along bridges, feed swans in the lakes, cross the river on the boat, feel the taste of freedom, comfort. Children were introduced to rare species of flora and fauna. In the pavilion Flora, named after the goddess of spring and flowers, musicians often act. Upon completion of the excursion, the students got a lot of interesting knowledge and shared their impressions.

When traveling by country, we learn about its history, culture, and most importantly, about our roots.
