We celebrate Peace Day
The International Day of Peace is celebrated in Ukraine and around the world on September 21. Today, peace in Ukraine is not an abstract wish; it is a conscious goal, because the struggle for peaceful existence, for the right to live in one’s own state continues. And today every Ukrainian family felt the highest value of peace, which is the key to a happy life. Peace does not mean losing the war, peace is the daily work of every citizen for improvement, development and peace in the country.
The day began with morning meetings in grades 1-11 dedicated to this important event for our state. In the school lobby, students, parents and teachers had the opportunity to watch videos and learn about the history and symbols of the holiday. During information hours, students took part in the online quiz “Peace Day” and master classes “Peace Dove”. Volunteer club “Vektor” organized and held a peace-making action “# pray for Ukraine” in which 5th grade students took an active part. The youngest students of the school, together with their teachers, joined the flash mob “Umbrellas of Peace”.
The schoolchildren wished everyone peace and harmony.
