Transport snake
School workshop for sustainable development is working. During one week in our school, we explored the types of mobility, and helped us with the “Transport Snake”. Activity was growing on a daily basis, 260 students, parents and teachers took part in the study. Daily monitoring:
Monday: 20% – came by cars, 17% – by public transport, 63% – came on foot.
Tuesday: 15% – came by cars, 36% – by public transport, 49% – came on foot.
Wednesday: 23% – arrived by car, 23% – by public transport, 54% – came on foot.
Thursday: 25% – arrived by car, 16% – by public transport, 49% – came on foot.
Friday: 26% – came by cars, 23% – by public transport, 51% – came on foot.
It is nice to note that our students, parents and school staff take care of the clean air in the city, only bad weather, in the form of rain can force them to get by car or public transport.
