More than 300 experts in English from different countries took part in the XXI Congress of the National Association of Teachers of English TESOL-Ukraine.

The event was organized with the assistance of the US Embassy in Ukraine on the initiative of the Foreign Languages ​​Department of Foreign Languages ​​LNU of Franko, together with colleagues from the Association of Teachers of English -TESOL-Ukraine.

The theme of this year’s congress was: “Global changes in Ukraine – global changes in the teaching of English in Ukraine.” In Lviv University professors and teachers came from different countries and 23 regions of Ukraine.

“Being an English teacher is a great advantage,” – said in his opening remarks during the opening ceremony of the Congress head office of the Regional English US Embassy in Kyiv Kevin McCoy. According to him, this profession gives people the opportunity to work in a team and solve various issues. “You have every opportunity to implement projects and improve media knowledge, plan and organize. All these are the benefits of a teacher of English. And you can always develop these skills directly through the English language “, – says Kevin McCoy.
