PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST – 2019

School students attended the Contest of Speaking at the International University of LCC. The theme of this year’s Contest of Speaking Writing in English – “Be Dare to Think for Yourself” in the context of the quotation “Unthinking Life is Not Worth to Be Living”. The 11th-grade student Olexandra Dovhal and Victoria Solomakha freely interpreted a given topic in their own speeches. Upon completion, the students received certificates of participation and gifts from the contest organizers.
Note: LCC International University, located in Klaipeda, Lithuania, is a US-based institution of higher education with English as a language of instruction. As LCC is an international university, where about 70% of students come from 40 different countries and 60% of teachers are native speakers of the English language from the US and Canada, the University seeks to support and promote the use of English in higher education, as well as to celebrate and award students who achieve success in study. The International University of LCC has been collaborating with various schools in Eastern Europe and, in particular, Ukraine since 2004.
